Primary 1 & 2 Junior Explorers Lab: A Kickstart to Science
At Heuristics Science, we understand that cultivating a love for science begins with nurturing curiosity from a young age. That’s why we’ve designed the Primary 1 & 2 Junior Explorers Lab, a hands-on programme tailored to introduce young learners to science. Although the Singapore education system officially incorporates science into the curriculum from Primary 3 onwards, this lab provides a valuable head start, equipping Primary 1 and 2 students with foundational skills to thrive in the years ahead.
Why Start Early?
Children are naturally curious and eager to explore the world around them. Through our P1 science and P2 science programme, we build on this innate curiosity by introducing concepts in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner. Early exposure to science encourages critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love for learning – qualities essential for academic and personal growth.
While Primary 1 science and Primary 2 science aren’t formal parts of the syllabus, our Junior Explorers Lab bridges the gap by introducing students to topics like observation, experimentation, and logical reasoning. By the time they reach Primary 3, our young explorers are well-prepared to tackle the official science curriculum with confidence and enthusiasm.
